Job Description Summary The IS Manager – Business Solutions is responsible for managing a team of Business Solutions and Support Specialists to organize, prioritize, and assess the delivery of comprehensive and efficient IT services. Key Responsibilities Include: Strategic Development: Developing comprehensive application and vendor management strategies across hardware, application, and enterprise architecture environments. Collaborating on the digital roadmap and creating long-term support team strategies. Application and Product Management: Taking responsibility for product life cycles, systems functionalities, and long-/short-term developments. Planning and negotiating agile releases of business-critical updates while accommodating business timelines. Project Management: Managing the execution, delivery, and quality assurance of projects within the solutions environment, ensuring a smooth transition from the project phase to Business as Usual (BAU) in line with the Harmony IS Project Management framework. Risk & Compliance Management: Driving compliance across Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental management, overseeing risk analyses, developing disaster recovery plans, and mitigating active project risks. Stakeholder Engagement & Vendor Management: Defining the operational parameters for third-party vendors via robust Service Level Agreements (SLAs), managing vendor performance, and building collaborative relationships with internal business heads. Financial & Budget Control: Providing input into the software licensing, operational support, and capital projects budgets while optimizing licenses across the organization to unlock cost benefits.
