Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Own the Marketing Mix: Lead the full spectrum of marketing, from brand management and advertising to public relations and digital campaigns
Drive Commercial Growth: Spearhead B2B marketing efforts focused on generating qualified leads, building a healthy sales pipeline, and directly contributing to revenue targets
Lead & Develop a Team: Manage and mentor a team of five, fostering a culture of high performance, ownership, and collaboration
Build Strategic Partnerships: Manage key sponsorships and partnerships to enhance brand visibility and ensure a strong return on investment
Ensure Brand Consistency: Champion the brand, ensuring all local initiatives are aligned with global guidelines and resonate with the South African market
Collaborate Internally: Work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure marketing strategies support broader business goals
Manage External Partners: Oversee relationships with creative, media, and digital agencies to ensure flawless campaign execution
Be Hands-On: While you will set the vision, you will also be actively involved in creating content, executing campaigns, and monitoring performance metrics to provide actionable insights to leadership
Skills & Experience (Not negotiable):
A relevant tertiary degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally within a SaaS or technology-focused company
A track record of successfully managing and developing a team of at least five people
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to connect marketing activities to tangible business outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas to senior stakeholders
Highly organized with strong project management skills
A collaborative leader who thrives in a cross-functional environment
A willingness to be both a strategist and a doer, comfortable with hands-on execution
