Tender Administrator
Location: Parktown, Gauteng
Contract Type: Permanent
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Tender Administrator to support a busy tender department within a fast-paced shared services environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a tender or bid administration environment
- Strong MS Office skills (Advanced level)
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Strong administration, time management, and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Advantageous
- Tertiary qualification in Administration or related field
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Experience working with supplier databases (e.g. government portals)
Key Responsibilities
- Support tender coordinators with preparation and submission of tender documents
- Compile and manage tender files and supporting documentation
- Update and maintain internal tender registers and databases
- Track tender opportunities and submission deadlines
- Ensure timely delivery of tender submissions
- Assist with general departmental administration and procurement support
- Manage stationery and consumables for the department
