WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

As our Operations Coordinator, you will project-manage our in-house operational standards app and lead logistical planning for company events. By streamlining our internal quality control mechanisms and executing flawless events, you ensure strict quality standards and seamless service delivery. Your work directly strengthens the organisational infrastructure that allows Bushwise to develop the next generation of expert field guides and conservationists.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• App Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end project management, development, and strategic launch of an in-house application built to govern operational processes.
  

• Interface Design: Design application user interfaces to clearly present distinct types of organisational information, including documentation and data frameworks.
  

• Quality Control Compliance: Leverage the internal app as a core quality control mechanism to standardise and audit performance across a complex service delivery organisation.
  

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate cross-functionally across multiple global departments to ensure organisational alignment and seamless integration of operational tools.
  

• Physical Event Sourcing: Identify, research, and book high-impact in-person events that align with the company's commercial and operational goals.
  

• Event Logistics: Coordinate all planning, preparation, and complex logistics required for successfully attending and executing physical events.
  

• Digital Event Hosting: Direct digital events by serving as a technical host, ensuring platform stability and smooth execution during live broadcasts.
  

• Speaker Coordination: Sourcing, onboarding, and briefing expert hosts and guest speakers for both digital webinars and live, in-person events.
  

• Task Tracking: Manage daily operational project flows, tracking deliverables, and organising team tasks using Trello.
  

• Outbound Communication: Conduct targeted outbound communication activities to support event promotional cycles and stakeholder engagement.
  

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• Experience designing app interfaces to clearly present different types of information, such as documents and data frameworks.
  

• Experience building an app to manage in-house operational standards and processes.
  

• Proven experience working cross-functionally across global departments.
  

• Experience identifying and booking in-person events.
  

• Experience in the planning, preparation and logistics that go into attending an in-person event
  

Bonus if you also have:

• Familiarity with the database setup and hosting requirements of an application.
  

• Experience building an app to manage in-house operational standards and processes, alongside experience in project managing an app launch.
  

• Experience leveraging an app as a quality control mechanism across a complex service delivery organisation.
  

• Experience serving as the technical host in charge of digital events.
  

• Experience sourcing event hosts and speakers for both digital and in-person events.
  

• Experience working on Trello to organise project flows.
  

• Experience doing outbound communication activities.
  

• Experience with post-university careers platforms, portals, and services.
