OPTIMISE AND STEER HIGH-PERFORMANCE MARKETING OPERATIONS

As our Head of Marketing Delivery, you will manage and optimise all marketing operations across our global channels. By streamlining cross-departmental project workflows, enhancing developer output, and standardising briefing frameworks, you ensure our high-performing marketing team delivers exceptional results with maximum efficiency. Your operational leadership directly enables Bushwise to connect with global audiences and fulfil our core mission: developing the next generation of expert field guides and conservationists who drive real-world biodiversity outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Operational Coordination: Ensure the efficient coordination, prioritisation, and timely completion of all marketing projects and new requests across all resources.
Developer Optimisation: Oversee the development team to ensure their output is highly productive, optimised, and aligned with technical delivery expectations.
Cross-Departmental Delivery: Lead cross-department projects and tasks to ensure they are completed to a high standard in the minimum time possible.
Efficiency Auditing: Audit team tasks, outputs, and overall efficiency, taking on operational tasks where suitable to minimise the time resources spend on administration.
Project Tracking: Oversee the setup, management, and ongoing maintenance of Trello boards, project plans, reports, and trackers.
Briefing & Process Standardisation: Standardise and optimise the briefing process to allow team members to execute quickly, working alongside the CMO to create scalable processes.
Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with external departments and stakeholders to maintain efficient lines of communication and successful brief completion.
Workflow & Storage Management: Manage file storage structures and implement workflow optimisations across the marketing ecosystem.
Status Reporting: Produce accurate daily, weekly, and monthly status reports as required across our distinct brands.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
4+ years of experience in a project management or operations role in a large (20-person+), high-output marketing team
Extensive experience delivering end-to-end digital and offline projects that involve design, web development, paid media, communications, and offline projects that involve video, social media, as well as events and activations
4+ years' experience setting up project plans for digital marketing initiatives and owning them to completion.
4+ years' experience coordinating cross-functionally across an organisation.
4+ years' experience within a fast-paced, agency-like marketing environment.
1+ years of line management experience
1+ years' experience running high-volume digital event operations
Significant experience using Trello to manage complex projects.
Bonus if you also have:
Extensive experience delivering end-to-end digital and offline projects that involve brand strategy.
4+ years of experience marketing directly to a Gen Z audience across the UK, US, EU, and South Africa.
A good conceptual understanding of the South African bush careers, field guiding, and wildlife conservation industry.
