By driving organisational culture, managing seasonal hiring cycles, and establishing robust wellness and duty-of-care frameworks, you support the professionals working on the front lines. Your work directly sustains the global workforce required to deliver life-changing field guide training and drive real-world biodiversity outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Talent Acquisition Leadership: Lead the talent acquisition function, managing complex recruitment pipelines specifically for remote, international, or field-based operations.
Compliance & Safety Vetting: Design, implement, and enforce strict compliance, safety vetting, and mandatory background check protocols, including criminal record and child protection clearances.
Seasonal Workforce Planning: Forecast, model, and manage seasonal hiring cycles to guarantee all training programs are 100% staffed ahead of fixed operational start dates.
Budgetary Alignment: Partner directly with senior operational leaders to accurately balance global headcounts and staffing requirements against tight operational budgets.
Contract Management: Independently create, draft, and issue legally compliant employment contracts, localised addenda, and formal offer letters for diverse global hires.
HR Administrative Operations: Govern daily HR administrative processes, including tracking leave, managing employee benefits, and coordinating accurate monthly payroll inputs with the Finance team.
Wellness & Duty of Care: Manage comprehensive employee wellness initiatives and duty-of-care frameworks, prioritising the physical and mental health of staff working in remote, isolated, or high-pressure environments.
Policy Architecture: Author, update, and refine internal company policies and employee handbooks to maintain legal compliance across international borders and support cultural alignment.
Lifecycle Management: Direct the end-to-end employee lifecycle, building structured processes for onboarding, orientation, ongoing engagement, offboarding, and exit interviews.
Employee Relations: Manage internal employee relations, including providing mediation, handling formal grievances, executing disciplinary tracks, and facilitating conflict resolution.
