BRING TECHNICAL PRECISION AND FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE TO GLOBAL WILDLIFE EDUCATION OPERATIONS

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

As our Commercial Operations Coordinator, you will provide vital hybrid support across our global commercial operations. By balancing marketing systems automation with precise financial reporting, you give our leadership team critical data visibility while keeping our B2C audience communication seamless. Your behind-the-scenes precision directly strengthens the digital and financial infrastructure required to fuel our core mission: developing the next generation of expert field guides and conservationists. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Technical Marketing Systems Support: Manage, configure, and optimise multi-channel B2C communication workflows, including creating automated email pipelines within Salesforce, executing campaigns in Mailchimp, and administering SMS tools.
  

• Technical Event Hosting: Take ownership of the technical hosting and execution for live digital events, proactively troubleshooting technical challenges on platforms like Zoom to ensure a frictionless user experience.
  

• Financial Data Management: Utilise Microsoft Excel functions—including formulas, pivot tables, and data functions—to organise, clean, and analyse complex commercial and financial datasets to support accurate reporting.
  

• Financial Reporting & Tracking: Interpret historical data and prepare basic financial metrics, reports, and templates, including tracking cash flow positions and compiling income summaries.
  

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as an operational link across internal business units, communicating and coordinating fluidly between the marketing, strategy, and business development teams to ensure task alignment.
  

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• Undergraduate degree in a financial discipline.
  

• Experience problem-solving technical challenges on tools such as Zoom.
  

• Demonstrated experience managing communication tools, such as those that send SMS messages to send B2C communication.
  

• Experience creating email flows on a CRM such as Salesforce?
  

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience using formulas, pivot tables, and data functions to organise and analyse financial data.
  

• Comfortable interpreting and preparing basic financial reports, such as cash flow trackers or income summaries.
  

Bonus if you also have:

• Proven experience being in charge of the technical hosting for digital events 
  

• Experience marketing to a Gen Z audience in the UK, US, EU, and South Africa.
  

• A good understanding of South African bush careers, the field guiding industry, and the conservation industry.
  

• Practical experience communicating and coordinating cross-functionally across marketing and business development teams.
