Job Summary
THE MINIMUM NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE:
- A relevant qualification in Activations, Promotions, Marketing, Brand, or Project Management, supported by proven experience in brand activations, promotional campaigns, and key account management.
- Proven project management experience, including developing detailed project plans, SOPs, and Scope of Work agreements, and delivering multiple activations on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with clients, understanding brand objectives, identifying client needs, tailoring solutions, building trusted relationships, and negotiating commercially sound pricing and supplier terms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using sales software and client relationship management (CRM) tools to manage reporting, pipeline tracking, and operational documentation.
- A valid driver’s licence, own reliable transport, and the ability and flexibility to work extended hours and travel as per business requirements.

Account & Client Relationship Management
- Developing quarterly Account Relationship Plans for each key account
- Obtaining approval on account plans
- Executing account plans consistently throughout the quarter
- Attending and leading client meetings (project-based)
- Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
- Conducting and monitoring customer satisfaction surveys
- Ensuring client retention and long-term account growth
Project & Operations Management
- Ensuring all projects are run in accordance with defined company processes
- Developing detailed project plans per project (using required templates)
- Ensuring each project has a detailed SOP
- Obtaining client approval on:
- Project plans
- Scope of Work (SOW)
- Chairing weekly project meetings
- Uploading meeting notes to OneDrive on the same day
- Delivering projects on time and within budget
- Sharing weekly Operations Reports (including pipeline, active projects, resource requirements)
Risk Management
- Developing and maintaining a risk register per project
- Identifying and mitigating:
- Internal risks
- Client risks
- Ensuring brand promise is upheld throughout operational execution
Supplier Management
- Sourcing relevant suppliers per project
- Negotiating favourable pricing and terms
- Ensuring suppliers deliver:
- On time
- Within budget
- In line with project plans
New Business & Pipeline Management
- Ensuring valid leads are maintained in the pipeline
- Ensuring sufficient resources are available for projects
- Preventing loss of projects due to insufficient capacity
- Supporting revenue growth and profitability targets
Promoter & Campaign Coordination
- Manage and oversee promoters to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Brief promoters clearly on campaign objectives, deliverables, and brand standards.
- Coordinate promoter schedules, allocations, and deployment according to project requirements.
- Monitor promoter performance and ensure targets and KPIs are achieved.
- Address on-site challenges and provide prompt solutions to ensure smooth activations.
- Maintain consistent communication between promoters, clients, and internal teams.
- Ensure all campaign reporting, feedback, and performance tracking is completed accurately and on time.
- Uphold brand standards and ensure quality execution across all activations.
Business & Commercial Management
- Overseeing day-to-day business operations within company structures
- Ensuring profitability and operational efficiency targets are met
- Contributing to strategic growth
- Driving cost-effective team functioning
Strategic & Industry Responsibilities
- Staying current with the latest technological advances in activations and ROI measurement tools
- Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity
- Implementing new activation concepts and technological solutions
