Our client is seeking a highly analytical and solutions-driven Global Payroll Simulation Specialist to build and manage payroll cost simulations across multiple international territories.
This role requires someone who can research country-specific employment regulations, interpret tax and payroll requirements, calculate fully loaded employer costs, and present clear, commercially sound recommendations to clients. The position is ideal for someone with strong global payroll exposure, advanced modelling skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and calculate payroll simulation models across global territories.
Compare EOR, contractor and local entity payroll cost structures.
Research and interpret local employment legislation, tax requirements, treaties, statutory benefits, exemptions and country-specific employment obligations.
Prepare fully loaded employer cost calculations, including statutory employer taxes, mandatory benefits, customary allowances, FX implications, provider fees and start-date assumptions.
Develop country cost matrices, assumptions logs, sensitivity analyses and client-ready hiring recommendations.
Calibrate payroll models against EOR provider quotes and partner feedback.
Negotiate with clients, providers and partners to clarify costs, assumptions and service structures.
Identify risks, cost variables and compliance considerations that may affect payroll, billing or total cost to company.
Present final payroll simulation solutions to clients for review and approval.
RequirementsMinimum of 3 years’ experience in global payroll, EOR, international employment solutions or related payroll simulation work.
Hands-on experience with at least 2 EOR platforms.
Strong understanding of international payroll structures across EMEA, the Americas, Asia and other global markets.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
Strong scenario modelling and calculation ability.
Excellent research skills with the ability to interpret legislation, regulations, treaties and payroll requirements.
Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly explain assumptions, risks and calculations.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work accurately in a pressured, deadline-driven environment.
