A well-established company in the engineering and industrial supply sector is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to support branch sales operations and drive revenue growth.
This role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical sales environment and has experience dealing with customers in engineering, mining, or agricultural industries.
Key Responsibilities
Handle enquiries from internal and external customers efficiently
Prepare and submit accurate quotations within required timeframes
Assist walk-in (counter) customers and telephonic enquiries
Support the achievement of daily and monthly sales targets
Identify opportunities to grow sales from an internal support perspective
Administration & Financial Processing
Process quotations, invoices, and purchase orders
Assist external sales representatives with customer and product enquiries
Process manual transactions accurately on the system
Support branch financial reporting processes
Branch Operations Support
Be actively involved in day-to-day branch activities
Measure customer samples where required
Issue non-conformance reports and ensure corrective actions are followed up
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12)
Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in:
Engineering
Mining
Agricultural industries
K8 system experience (advantageous)
Good computer literacy
