Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Record and monitor daily income and expenditure, ensuring accurate allocation to properties and business units
• Track revenue from booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and other short-term rental channels
• Monitor financial performance of properties, including profitability, expenses, subscriptions, and debit orders
• Process staff reimbursements and coordinate payments to contractors, suppliers, and service providers
• Perform bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and maintain the integrity of financial records
• Prepare owner statements and support timely financial reporting across the property portfolio
• Compile monthly management accounts, including Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets
• Assist with cash flow monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis
• Support VAT tracking, reconciliations, PAYE administration, payroll processing, and SARS documentation
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors to ensure compliance and accurate reporting
• Analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for operational improvement
• Provide financial insights to support business performance, property acquisitions, and investments
• Maintain organised financial documentation and contribute to system improvements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant finance or accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Strong data analysis and financial analysis skills
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of R programming language is advantageous

Nice to Have:

• Experience in property or hospitality industries
• Familiarity with short-term rental platforms
• Knowledge of VAT and SARS compliance processes
