Key Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the freight and logistics sector.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
• Sell and promote comprehensive freight solutions across air, sea, and road freight services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across various industries and commodities.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development through to onboarding and account management.
• Conduct client visits, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
• Develop tailored logistics solutions that meet customer requirements and deliver value.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure service delivery excellence.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in freight forwarding and logistics sales.
• Strong understanding of air freight, sea freight, and road freight services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of international and domestic trade lanes.
• Demonstrated success in business development and revenue generation within the freight industry.
• Existing client relationships and an active business pipeline will be highly advantageous.
• Ability to generate new business independently and consistently.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and solution-selling ability.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.

The ideal candidate is an established freight sales professional who understands the market, knows the industry players, and requires minimal onboarding to become productive.
