Head Chef | Luxury Private Game Reserve | Sabi Sands
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef for a luxury private game reserve located in the Sabi Sands. This is an outstanding opportunity for a culinary professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional cuisine and leading a high-performing kitchen team in a remote, high-end hospitality environment.
Accommodation: Live-in position
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations and food production
• Design and implement creative, high-quality menus in line with the lodge’s standards
• Lead, train, and manage the kitchen team to ensure excellence in service delivery
• Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
• Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen budgets effectively
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and guest experience
• Liaise with management to align culinary offerings with guest expectations
• Previous experience as a Head Chef in a luxury lodge or high-end hospitality environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent culinary expertise with a passion for fine dining
• Ability to work well under pressure in a remote setting
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
