Camp Manager | Luxury Safari Camp | Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and capable Camp Manager for a luxury safari camp located in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who is passionate about guest experience and smooth camp operations within a remote bush environment.
Accommodation: Live-in position
• Oversee daily camp operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and anticipate guest needs
• Manage and supervise camp staff, ensuring high standards of service
• Maintain operational standards in line with a luxury safari environment
• Coordinate all departments including front of house, housekeeping, and food service
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and basic administrative duties
• Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards are upheld at all times
• Previous experience in a camp manager or similar role within a safari or lodge environment
• Strong guest relations and hospitality skills
• Hands-on management style with a practical approach
• Ability to lead and motivate a small team
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working in a remote bush setting
• High attention to detail and service excellence
• Live-in accommodation
• Meals provided
