A reputable luxury resort located in Pretoria; Gauteng ; is seeking a dynamic and experienced couple to fill a live‑in Housekeeping HOD & Stock Controller position. This opportunity is ideal for a hospitality‑focused couple who work well as a team and bring strong organisational, leadership, and operational skills to a resort environment. The role is structured to maximise efficiency by dividing responsibilities between two individuals, ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional guest services, and effective stock management. One partner will take the lead as Housekeeping Head of Department ; overseeing cleanliness standards, staff performance, and daily housekeeping operations. The second partner will focus on Stock Control ; ensuring accurate inventory management, cost controls, and logistical support to other departments. Together; the couple will play a key role in maintaining the resort’s high standards across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities. This position requires a hands‑on approach, excellent communication skills, and previous hospitality or resort experience. Key Responsibilities Partner 1 – Housekeeping HOD Lead and manage the housekeeping department Schedule staff shifts and allocate daily duties Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness standards Train; supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff Manage laundry operations and linen control Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards Report maintenance issues and liaise with management Partner 2 – Stock Controller Manage stock, supplies, and equipment Conduct regular stock takes and maintain inventory records Place orders and control departmental budgets Monitor losses, damages, and consumption levels Support daily housekeeping operations when required Maintain storerooms and supply areas in an orderly manner Assist with administrative and reporting duties
