The General Manager – Autowatch Division will lead the strategic growth, commercial expansion, and operational performance of the Autowatch business. The role will drive sales and marketing performance, strengthen export channels, oversee product development collaboration with engineering teams, and implement systems and structures that enable sustainable and scalable growth.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can combine strategic thinking with strong execution to ensure the business achieves its commercial, operational, and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share locally and internationally.
- Identify and grow export opportunities through distributor and partner networks.
- Drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and client retention across multiple channels.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and product gaps.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Lead integrated marketing initiatives to strengthen brand visibility and market reach.
- Oversee the development of sales collateral, campaigns, and industry events.
- Align marketing initiatives with commercial objectives to drive measurable outcomes.
Product & Project Leadership
- Lead cross-functional projects from concept through to commercial launch.
- Provide strategic input into product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and lifecycle management.
- Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to ensure products meet market needs.
Operational Excellence
- Design and implement efficient organisational structures, workflows, and business processes.
- Establish dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the division.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead high-performing teams across sales, marketing, engineering, and support functions.
- Implement performance frameworks and KPI-driven accountability.
- Develop succession plans and talent pipelines to ensure leadership continuity.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.
Outsourcing & Partner Management
- Manage outsourced manufacturing, engineering, and development partners.
- Negotiate contracts and manage service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure outsourced partners deliver quality outcomes aligned with business goals.
