INTERNAL VACANCY – QUALITY MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN
The Company is looking for an individual that will support the QMS Manager and relevant departments for ensuring the effective implementation and certification to IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015 of BORBET SA through data analysis, quality improvement projects and process optimisation initiatives.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Analyse customer quality performance indicators.
Develop and maintain customer-specific quality dashboards.
Monitor defect trends, scrap rates, rework levels, and process capability.
Prepare monthly quality performance reports and presentations.
Participate in root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
Support the preparation and follow-up of 8D reports.
Assist with corrective and preventive action implementation.
Support Fast Response and Quality Wall activities.
Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement projects.
Monitor compliance to customer specifications.
Support containment activities for customer concerns.
Assist with introducing new wheel variants into vision inspection systems.
Assist in managing customer complaints and return investigations.
Prepare customer presentations and performance summaries.
Participating in customer visits and audits where required.
Support the review and updating of process documentation, control plans, FMEAs, and work instructions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a manufacturing factory environment
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Quality related environment
Previous Laboratory testing experience
Experience implementing quality tools and continuous improvement principles
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work under pressure and be a team player
Honest, have integrity and good communication skills
Excellent attendance and disciplinary record
Computer literacy is essential (Excel, Word)
