Duties:
Configure and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud settings and manage business unit configurations
Monitor platform health, sending limits, and overall system configurations across multiple channels
Manage connected apps, API integrations, and data synchronization processes
Design, build, and optimise customer journeys within Marketing Cloud
Apply audience segmentation and personalise customer interactions within journeys
Monitor campaign performance metrics, diagnose underperforming journeys, and recommend improvements
Design and execute A/B and multivariate testing to enhance campaign effectiveness
Translate performance data into strategic business insights and recommendations
Oversee Data Cloud customer profiles and data objects, ensuring data quality and integrity
Manage data ingestion processes and enforce data governance and POPIA compliance
Build and maintain audience segments and personalisation frameworks
Configure Data Cloud Flow for real-time customer journey orchestration
Provide training and support to marketing team members on tools and processes
Maintain comprehensive documentation and SOPs
Act as a liaison between business, marketing, and IT teams to ensure alignment and smooth operations
Requirements:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator and Email Specialist certifications
3–5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Proven ability to design and own customer journeys within Marketing Cloud
Strong knowledge of Data Cloud, AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS, and Salesforce integrations
Familiarity with marketing automation, analysis, and data management
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong documentation and communication abilities
Nice to Have:
Additional Salesforce certifications
Experience with real-time data processing and journey orchestration
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance (POPIA)
