Now Hiring Concession Management Couple | Luxury Safari Tour Operator | Botswana About the Opportunity Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Concession Management Couple for a luxury safari tour operator based in Botswana. This senior leadership opportunity is ideal for a couple with extensive safari lodge management experience, exceptional operational expertise and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences while overseeing multiple camps within a concession. The successful candidates will be responsible for the overall management, performance and strategic oversight of the concession and camps, ensuring exceptional service standards, financial accountability, staff development and operational excellence. Key Requirements • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field • Minimum of 10 years' management experience within the hospitality industry • Extensive safari lodge or camp management experience essential • Strong operational management background within luxury hospitality • Broad technical and maintenance knowledge • Financial management and budgeting experience • Proven leadership and people management skills • Strong understanding of staff development, mentorship and performance management • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities • High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders • Guiding experience advantageous • Flexibility to travel extensively between remote camp locations Key Responsibilities • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the concession and associated camps • Ensure all operational requirements are managed in line with company standards • Drive exceptional guest experiences and maintain luxury hospitality standards • Manage and mentor camp management teams, ensuring optimal performance and staff development • Oversee recruitment, staffing structures and employee welfare initiatives • Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and performance management processes • Manage concession and camp budgets, expenditure and financial performance • Monitor stock control, procurement processes and camp administration • Plan and oversee preventative maintenance and capital improvement projects • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies • Manage concession assets and company property effectively • Build and maintain relationships with local communities, stakeholders and concession partners • Handle guest and agent feedback professionally and implement corrective actions where required • Support environmental sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with company impact strategies • Host key agents, journalists and VIP guests when required • Travel regularly between camps to monitor standards, service delivery and operational performance Package • Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience • Live-In position • Location: Botswana Please note that only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.
