Reliability Engineer – 3-Month Contract
Location: Germiston, Gauteng Contract: 3 Months, potentially extendable Industry: Gas / Pipeline / Energy
We are looking for an experienced Reliability Engineer to support reliability and asset integrity activities within a large-scale gas pipeline and operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and facilitate Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programmes.
Define RBI boundaries and validate asset/equipment data.
Facilitate multidisciplinary RBI reviews using PCMS and/or PIMSlider.
Develop RBI procedures, work instructions and governance documentation.
Facilitate and develop FMEA and Equipment Maintenance Strategies (EMS).
Develop and optimise maintenance plans and task lists.
Analyse reliability and maintenance data using SAP PM.
Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Inspection teams.
Support site inspections and field verification where required.
Requirements
8+ years' relevant Reliability Engineering experience.
BSc/BEng/BTech Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in RBI, FMEA and EMS.
Working knowledge of PCMS and/or PIMSlider.
Strong SAP PM experience, including equipment masters, functional locations, maintenance plans, task lists, notifications and work orders.
RBI, FMEA, RCM, Asset Management or Reliability Engineering certifications are advantageous.
Valid driver's licence.
Must reside in Gauteng.
