Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer with experience in corporate design work. The successful candidate will assist with creating professional visual content that aligns with brand guidelines and corporate identity standards.

The ideal candidate should have a good eye for design, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce corporate marketing materials, presentations, brochures, flyers and other branded collateral.

• Create digital graphics for websites, social media, email campaigns and other communication platforms.

• Ensure all designs adhere to corporate identity guidelines, brand standards and visual consistency.

• Assist with the development and maintenance of brand assets and marketing materials.

• Edit and prepare artwork for digital and print production.

• Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to understand design briefs and deliver creative solutions.

• Manage multiple design tasks and meet agreed deadlines.

• Incorporate feedback and make revisions as required.

• Maintain organised design files and artwork libraries.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field would be advantageous.

• Previous experience in a Junior Graphic Designer or similar role.

• Demonstrable experience in corporate graphic design and branded communication materials.

• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

• Good understanding of typography, layout, colour theory and corporate branding.

• Strong attention to detail, creativity and time-management skills.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must be able to provide a PDF portfolio upon request, showcasing previous graphic design work, particularly corporate design projects and branded marketing materials.

Remuneration and Contract

• Salary: R12,500 per month.

• Contract duration: 12 months, fixed term.
