Global provider of Specialty materials and chemicals has a vacancy for a Project Engineer to assist with completing capital projects as per 2022 Program. The position will be part-time (2-3 days per week) and a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. Mechanical/Chemical Engineering qualification and approx. 10 years Project Management in Chemical Factory environment required. Based in Eastern Suburbs- Gauteng.

Requirements:

• Mechanical/Chemical/Relevant Tertiary qualification
• Approx. 10 years experience in Project management in Chemical Factory environment
• Experience in planning, implementing and monitoring maintenance systems
• MS Office Advanced
• Valid drivers license
• Only to work part-time ( 2/3 days a week), 6 month contract period.

Duties:

• Project Engineering, including, design, sourcing, value engineering, scoping, order control etc.
• Project Management from start to commissioning of capital projects
• Contractor Control
