Showroom Operations Controller
High-End Luxury - FURNISHINGS
Bellville - Cape Town
SALARY: R20 000 - R25 000 CTC Neg (depending experience) + Comm & Benefit
Market Sector of high-end architectural design, Finishing fabrics, textiles, and High-End Decor. Specializing in exclusive products, directed for Architects, interior designers, and discerning homeowners seeking sophisticated, high-quality fabrics and furnishings.
REQUIREMENTS:
National Senior Certificate
Certificate or Diploma in Interior Design/Decor or related field advantageous
Minimum 3 years sales experience in retail in a similar role of management, same or related industry
Exposure to an interior design environment
Experience of coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage
Own reliable transport & valid driver license
Be assertive with drive and ambition
Be decisive and able to prioritize
Ability to cope in a high-paced and high-pressure environment
MAIN DUTIES:
Maintain showroom operations by maintaining the set showroom standards, coordinating deliveries, manage stock of cuttings, sample hangers and books, coordinate events etc.
Build productive relationships with customers by advising and selling to customers in the showroom and handling internal and external complaints and queries
Support field sales by supporting the internal sales consultants
Skills required:
Good telephone etiquette
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
Good presentation skills
Good with building and maintaining customer relationships
Excellent customer service and after sales service
Passionate for creating, engaging with top designers, inspiring spaces, guiding clients in selecting the perfect fabrics, finishes, and decor elements, and transforming their visions into reality
