As we continue our journey toward luxury, we’re looking for a warm, engaging Guest Experience Host with at least 2 years’ guest relations or front-of-house experience within a 4-star or 5-star hotel. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 Minimum 2 years’ guest relations or front-of-house experience within a 4-star or 5-star hotel. Hospitality Management diploma or certificate is advantageous. Strong knowledge of guest relations, VIP hosting, complaint handling and service recovery. Proficiency in OPERA PMS and Microsoft Office. Experience managing guest profiles, preferences and special requests. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging guests from diverse backgrounds. Professional grooming and confidence when hosting VIP and high-profile guests. Strong organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in challenging situations. Good knowledge of Cape Town attractions, restaurants, activities and cultural experiences. Ability to work within a busy Front Office and Guest Experience team. Availability to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Updated CV with and contactable references. What You’ll Be Doing Welcoming guests and creating a seamless, personalised experience from arrival to departure. Engaging with guests, anticipating their needs and recognising repeat guests and preferences. Hosting VIPs and coordinating special requests, celebrations and personalised touches. Handling queries, feedback and complaints, taking ownership of concerns and following through to resolution. Maintaining accurate guest profiles, preferences and requests in hotel systems. Recommending Cape Town attractions, restaurants and experiences. Coordinating with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, F&B and other departments to deliver guest requests.
