A well-established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee operational performance, people development, customer experience, sales and profitability across multiple locations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing operational strategies, maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement across the business.
Develop and implement operational business plans in line with company strategy, budgets and key performance targets.
Lead, coach and develop Area Coaches and operational teams, including succession planning, performance management and individual development plans.
Monitor operational standards, customer experience, compliance and store readiness, ensuring identified gaps are actioned and followed through.
Analyse sales, profitability, budgets and P&L performance, identifying opportunities to improve revenue, control costs and achieve business targets.
Oversee the effective implementation of promotions, marketing initiatives and sales strategies, using performance and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Conduct regular operational reviews and site visits, assess performance against KPIs and implement corrective action plans where required.
Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, service providers, landlords, unions and relevant industry/franchisor representatives.
Oversee maintenance and operational readiness of stores, including new store developments, remodels and refurbishments.
Ensure compliance with company policies, employment legislation, operational procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement by enhancing existing processes, systems and technology to improve operational efficiency.
BCom degree or 5 years' experience at Area Coach level with proven performance.
Previous experience in a senior multi-site operations management role.
Previous experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry will be an advantage.
Strong financial acumen, including the ability to analyse P&L statements, budgets, KPIs and profitability.
Proven experience in people management, coaching, performance management and succession planning.
Strong numerical, analytical, planning and organisational skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong understanding of compliance, risk management and operational standards.
Technologically savvy, with the ability to use operational software, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
Strong customer and service orientation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
Fluency in English is required.
LMR Certification and AC Unlock/Internal Training are required as applicable to the role.
