Job Summary
An established fine dining restaurant in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join its culinary team.
This role is suited to a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced fine dining environment and takes pride in delivering consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section
- Prepare and present dishes to fine dining standards
- Ensure quality, consistency and portion control
- Assist with stock control and stock takes
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Support junior kitchen staff where required
- Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a fine dining environment
- Relevant culinary qualification
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, plating and presentation
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Passion for quality food and exceptional guest experiences
- Own reliable transport essential
- Available to work weekends, evenings and public holidays
