Residential & Facilities Co-ordinator

As a residential and facilities coordinator, you will ensure an optimal working environment across all our properties and ensure that the necessary support is given to operations in terms of Facilities & Residential matters. The ideal candidate must have excellent time management skills, excellent administration skills and attention to detail for aesthetics and interior spaces are of high importance. Candidate must have a valid driver’s licence with own transport and be willing to travel to various destinations. Minimum requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration

• Acts as liaison between different company departments to ensure that problems are appropriately resolved.

Operations

• Summarise guest feedback from Centricity, Trip Advisor and Flash feedback cards to plan, communicate and action residential/facilities work needed in the properties.

• Submit project management to financial controller/manager on a weekly basis.
• Submit purchase orders and invoices to creditors twice a week.
• Ensure Residential targets are met.
• Assist in placing orders and filing.

Management Support

• Assist Facility Management & Residential Team with tactical planning for the team’s goals and objectives.
• Provide facility specific assistance to the project / maintenance management team as needed or requested.
• Manage and maintain small facility management tasks as assigned.
• Devise new ways to improve efficiency of office work and facilities services.

Overview

Our client is currently recruiting a German-speaking Trip Coordinator to join their team. The role of a trip coordinator is to manage and coordinate trips for our international guests while they are travelling with the company, with the aim of bringing alive the magic of travel through a well-organized and seamless trip. • Working closely with their partners to confirm ground services the moment a booking comes in
• Reconfirming all services with relevant partners before the start of a trip to ensure everything is booked as per what has been promised to the guest
• Liaising between their guests and the partners to execute trips and deliver on the experiences promised by their travel consultants
• Providing prompt, courteous service to guests by applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to their problems
• Understanding the guests’ requirements and coordinating with different departments to prepare necessary arrangements pre and post the guests’ travel

• Acting as the single point of contact for guests on his or her trip and providing 24hr support throughout the duration of the trip - this would include availability over weekends and holidays in case of emergencies or crisis

Inbound Sales Executive

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

• To manage section and section staff ensuring that:
• Section stock levels are correct and where required requisitioned in accordance with SOP
• Mise en place requirements are planned, actioned and handed over in accordance with SOP
• All food prepared is done in accordance with recipes an RCH and LHW time standards
• Section is set up and managed to maximise productivity and in accordance with Health and Safety and Statutory Hygiene practices and company guidelines

• To communicate any challenges re. equipment, food and staff to the chef on duty as soon as it becomes known
• To train staff on an ongoing basis to ensure they are always up to standard with current menu recipes and standards
• Advise kitchen management of order requirements for section stock in accordance with business levels ensuring sufficient stock and no wastage
• Ensure that fridge temperatures are monitored and reported daily

The Micros Field Technician (MFT) is required to install, maintain and support the product to his/her assigned area of expertise to the satisfaction of our clients, employees and management.

Primary Responsibilities for the Role

Product Knowledge

• Keep updated on new technologies available, both on MICROS software/hardware products, third-party software/hardware products, as well as general IT technologies, related to our industry.
• Regularly visit the corporate websites, www.micros.com, www.micros.co.za, to keep informed about corporate developments and news.
• Read the published ‘Product Marketing Announcements’ (PMA) on a regular basis.
• Pass any certification examinations as required by Management.
• Every MFT is expected to be able to install assigned products according to MICROS standards and to the complete satisfaction of our clients and Management.
• The MFT is required to pass on any new acquired skill/knowledge to other MFT’s verbally, via email, fax or memorandum.
• The MFT presents training courses to other MFTs as required.
• Must be able to configure a complete database of the assigned products and provide a working solution for the client (i.e. network connectivity, drive mappings, systems parameters, etc.).

Support

• Each MFT is required to support the products assigned to him/her.
• Clients on ‘Stop Support’ are not to be supported without authorization by Management.
• All support calls are to be logged on the in-house call logging system according to the Micros logging standards.
• MFT to be aware of escalation procedures as communicated from time to time. Escalation procedures may vary for corporate accounts.
• The MFT must assess the problem and assign a correct priority
• All logged calls are too updated timeously.
• Ensure timely resolution or assignment of call within the Micros SLA commitments
• Clients are to be provided with the call log ID.
• Be responsible for interaction with customers via email, telephone, fax, PC Anywhere etc. Research and test problems to confirm, isolate and identify what caused the problem and solutions. When unable to resolve problems, escalate to the correct channels.
• Maintain all documentation required by Micros SA. Assist with implementing, testing and writing any documentation that may be required.
• Ensure that ALL equipment is checked in and out and properly maintained

Support Calls

• Once a call is assigned, the technician must take ownership of the call and it remains his or her responsibility to resolve the call, unless instructed otherwise.
• Manual dockets must be issued to the customer and completed in full and accurately. The log number is then to be written on the manual docket.
• No manipulation of charges may be made for a call unless authorized by management.
• All monies are to be collected on site unless authorized by management.
• All monies are to be handed to the admin clerk daily, along with all the dockets, to the admin clerk.

Spares

• MFT’s are to ensure that they have enough spares in their vehicles at all times.
• MFT’s must return all old spares to the stores and immediately replenish their stock.
• All serial numbers are to be recorded when a spare is taken into the MFT’s stock AND when performing any work on the customer’s site.All equipment and spares are to be returned to stores daily, nothing is to be left in the hardware office

CONDITIONS AND HOURS OF WORK

• You will be required to work in the Cape Town office from Monday – Friday. You are required to work 9 hours per day, including an hour lunch break. The working hours are depending on the team setup and business requirements. Flexible work from home is permitted, with a split of 3 office and 2 work from home days as detailed in the offer of employment and the work from home guidance document which forms part of our HR Policy pack available at the time of offer only.
