Where You'll Make an Impact:
Teach Information Technology across the Further Education and Training (FET) phase, including Grade 12.
Prepare students thoroughly for their NSC Information Technology examinations.
Utilize technology effectively to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment processes.
Engage actively in extra-mural activities and serve as a Tutor within the Vertical Tutor System.
Duties:
Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CAPS curriculum.
Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student progress.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Participate in school events and extracurricular initiatives.
Experience in Teaching Computer Applications Technology would be of distinct advantage.
Requirements:
Knowledge and experience in teaching the CAPS curriculum for Information Technology.
Proven experience teaching at Grade 12 level.
Strong assessment and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
Familiarity with the following:
Use of technology in the classroom.
Effective student assessment methods.
