Job Summary
About the Role We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our Construction and Manufacturing division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and promoting our range of construction and manufacturing products and solutions. Key Responsibilities • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the construction and manufacturing sectors. • Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, manufacturers, distributors, and other key stakeholders. • Promote and sell the company's products and services to existing and prospective clients. • Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and sales presentations. • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets. • Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations, and site inspections where required. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new opportunities. • Provide technical product information and recommend suitable solutions to customers. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction. • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and customer information using the company's CRM system. • Attend industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company's products and services. Minimum Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field will be an advantage. • Minimum of 3 years' proven sales experience within the construction, manufacturing, building materials, engineering, or industrial sectors. • Sound knowledge of construction products, manufacturing processes, or industrial equipment. • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively. The company offers three major services which include asphalt manufacturing, surfacing/placement and logistics. Asphalt Manufacturing Maloka Machaba Surfacing manufactures a variety of asphalt mixes. The company has a 140 ton/hour Asphalt Batch Plant based in Polokwane, Limpopo. Surfacing MM Surfacing has a number of pavers, rollers, chip spreaders and bitumen distributors to meet all our client’s road surfacing needs. Logistics Our logistics arm of the business ensures that the client can depend on us to provide quality asphalt at the quickest possible way. Central to our business strategy is ensuring that we provide quality products that supersede clients expectation. MM Surfacing has a team of highly capable technical professionals, sales and logistics personnel.
