Our client is seeking a highly organised and analytical Stock Control Manager to oversee the full stock lifecycle across a complex national operation. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate stock management, effective supplier coordination, and maintaining optimal stock levels across multiple categories and locations.
You will manage inventory that supports daily courier operations, including packaging materials, uniforms, parcel lockers, and specialised equipment spares. Working closely with procurement, finance, warehouse teams, and suppliers, you will ensure stock availability while maintaining strong internal controls and audit compliance.

What You’ll Do
Oversee stock levels across multiple categories, including packaging, uniforms, parcel lockers, and technical spare parts
Maintain accurate stock records and manage all inventory movements
Conduct regular stock audits, including cycle counts and spot checks
Forecast stock requirements based on consumption trends and operational demand
Manage ordering, receiving, and inspection of incoming stock
Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and vendors
Lead and coordinate teams responsible for stock management across departments
Generate reports and stock insights using Microsoft Excel
Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock and recommend corrective actions
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements
What You Bring
Minimum 10 years’ experience in stock control within a high-volume operational environment
Experience within logistics, courier, or supply chain environments is highly advantageous
Strong working knowledge of inventory systems such as Titan POS or similar platforms
Advanced Microsoft Excel capability including pivot tables, reporting dashboards, and data analysis
Strong organisational and inventory planning skills
Excellent communication and supplier management capability
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Inventory Management
