Our expanding client in Maitland (Cape Town) is looking for an HR Manager with strong leadership qualities to oversee and manage their workforce. This role requires someone who is assertive, disciplined and confident in handling 100+ staff members with authority and fairness.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Diploma / Higher Certificate in HR Management (NQF6)
Minimum 5 years’ HR Management experience
Knowledge of SA labour legislation (BCEA, Labour Relations, etc.)
Proven track record of managing100+ staff members
Strong leadership skills and managerial ability
Policy enforcement and compliance expertise
Excellent organisational and communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
Resilient personality - able to handle pressure and maintain discipline

Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection: Full cycle from adverts to interviews and background checks
Onboarding and Exit Management: Contracts, orientation and exit interviews
HR Administration & Payroll: Payroll processing, leave management and personnel files
Industrial Relations and Compliance: Support hearings, grievances and ensure MCEA / LRA / EE compliance
Performance Management: Assist Managers with evaluations and improvement plans
Reporting: Monthly HR reports on staff turnover, absenteeism and HR metrics
Working Hours:
· Monday - Saturday: 06:00 - 15:00
· Saturday: 06:00 - 10:00
Salary:
· R17,000 – R22,000
