? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is recruiting on behalf of one of Africa’s most respected luxury safari groups, operating across Botswana, for an experienced and seasoned ?????????? ?????????? ??????. Our client is a world-renowned safari operator with an exceptional footprint across the African continent – built on a deep conservation ethos, extraordinary guest experiences, and a genuine commitment to the communities they operate within. In Botswana, they manage a portfolio of luxury camps across iconic wilderness areas. This is a senior, live-in appointment for a couple who will jointly take full responsibility for an allocated concession and its camps – a meaningful and high-impact role within a group that sets the benchmark for African safari hospitality. Reporting to the Operations Manager Botswana, the Concession Management Couple will be responsible for overseeing the full operation of their allocated concession – from ensuring all camps are appropriately staffed and managed, through to financial oversight, maintenance planning, guest experience standards, and community and concession partnerships. The couple will work closely with Lodge Managers and camp teams to uphold and continuously elevate the group’s service standards, while managing the broader operational, HR, environmental, and compliance requirements of the concession. Extensive travel between camp locations is a core part of the role. ???????????? Minimum 10 years of management experience within the hospitality industry, with a strong camp and lodge operations background – knowledge of the safari lodge environment is essential. Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Broad technical knowledge relevant to camp and concession management. Senior-level operations experience in the hospitality or safari sector. Proven ability to manage Lodge Managers and camp teams, driving performance, welfare, and professional development across multiple camps. Strong financial literacy – able to budget, monitor expenditure, and account for camp financials on a monthly basis. Solid understanding of HR processes: recruitment, performance management, disciplinary procedures, and staff scheduling. Experience coordinating short and long-term maintenance and capital projects within a camp or lodge environment. Comfortable managing community and concession partnerships and representing the organisation in stakeholder engagements. Ability to host and engage key trade agents, journalists, and VIP guests as required. A guiding background at any level will be a distinct advantage. Flexibility to travel extensively between camp locations as required. High emotional intelligence, outstanding people skills, and strong written and verbal communication. A genuine passion for conservation, community engagement, and the African bush.
