Role Overview Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager for a boutique hotel in the heart of the Robertson Wine Valley. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a hands-on hospitality leader with a passion for guest service, business development, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will oversee all hotel operations while driving revenue growth, building industry relationships, and positioning the property as a leading destination. ? Requirements: • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior hospitality management role • Previous experience as a Hotel Manager, General Manager, Lodge Manager, or Operations Manager • Strong sales, marketing, and business development background • Experience working with travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, and online travel platforms • Strong understanding of revenue management and hotel distribution channels • Excellent financial, administrative, and leadership skills • Proficient in hotel reservation and property management systems • Relevant Hospitality or Business Management qualification • Valid driver's licence ? Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel • Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service standards • Lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage operations • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue • Build relationships with tourism partners, corporate clients, and industry stakeholders • Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational efficiencies • Lead, mentor, and develop the hotel team • Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements • Drive revenue management, promotional campaigns, and business growth • Represent the hotel at networking events and industry functions ?
