COLLECTIONS OPERATIONS MANAGER

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Collections Operations Manager to oversee credit, collections and recoveries operations, drive process improvements and lead a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage credit, collections and recovery operations.
Develop and implement collections strategies.
Monitor portfolio performance, reports, trends and operational risks.
Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement.
Manage external collections agencies and SLAs.
Analyse client financial information and credit-risk trends.
Lead, coach and develop the collections team.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or Business Management.
4–6 years' experience in credit operations, collections, debt management or recoveries.
Banking or financial services experience essential.
Proven people-management experience.
Experience in process optimisation and operational risk.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
FAS accreditation and Honours/NQF Level 9 qualification advantageous.
