Job Summary
We need a hands-on, technically strong factory person who can take ownership of the filling and packaging operation. This is not a corporate/desk-based management role. The person must be comfortable spending time on the factory floor and troubleshooting problems when required. Seeking someone who can take ownership of people, machines, output, quality, downtime and efficiency.
Qualification and Experience
A tertiary and technical qualification
Technical and production planning knowledge
High volume liquid filling lines
Understanding of fillers, cappers, labellers, conveyors and packaging machinery
Managing production teams
Knowledge of food safety systems and health and safety
5 years production experience
Responsibilities
Achieving daily production targets
Ensuring quality of products
Ensuring effective maintenance of machines/instruments
Production reports
Managing raw materials for production
Food safety management system and health and safety
