Job Summary
Our client, a leading player in the banking and financial services space, is seeking a Senior C# .NET Software Engineer to join their core payments and banking technology team. This role sits at the heart of critical systems that enable the secure and efficient movement of money, with a strong focus on building scalable, cloud-native solutions using C# and Azure.
The successful candidate will work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to system design, API development, and production support, within a collaborative, high-performing environment that values technical excellence, ownership, and open engagement.
Requirements
8+ years’ software development experience
Strong proficiency in C# (.NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 6+) with a focus on building ASP.NET APIs
Experience with TypeScript and Angular (2+)
Solid understanding of Git for source control
Strong grasp of scalable application design principles and RESTful APIs
Experience writing unit and integration tests
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
Experience deploying applications in containerised environments (Kubernetes, Azure)
Ability to support, monitor, and troubleshoot production systems
Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos and Pipelines)
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
Microsoft SQL Server
Frontend fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
