Primary Purpose The successful Reservations & Revenue Agent will oversee booking operations, optimizes pricing strategies, and maximizes occupancy across a portfolio of Guest House and Airbnb properties. This role requires an analytical mindset, hospitality expertise, and exceptional customer service to drive profitability and guarantee guest satisfaction. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Reservation Management Handle booking inquiries, confirmations, cancellations, and modifications across multiple platform listings. Revenue Optimization Develop dynamic pricing strategies using market data, seasonal trends, and competitor analysis. Occupancy Monitoring Track occupancy rates and adjust availability calendars to ensure optimal performance. Guest Communication Provide timely, professional responses to guest inquiries to maintain high review scores. Market Analysis Research local market conditions, demand patterns, and competitor listings to inform decisions. Reporting & Analytics Prepare performance reports on revenue, occupancy, and booking trends for property owners. Team Collaboration Coordinate with property managers, cleaners, and maintenance staff for seamless guest experiences. Key Skills & Knowledge Areas Hospitality Operations: Background in hotel, Airbnb, or vacation rental management. Analytical Ability: Strong skills in data analysis, forecasting, and revenue tools. Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with the Airbnb platform and property management systems. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication for guest and owner interactions. High-Volume Capability: Ability to handle high call volumes and emails efficiently. Sales Techniques: Knowledge of upselling and cross-selling to increase revenue. Data Accuracy: Precision in entering guest details, dates, and payment information. Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity to diverse guest backgrounds, languages, and expectations. Minimum Requirements Education: Matric (Grade 12) qualification. Citizenship: South African citizenship. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of reservationist experience. Systems: Proficiency in Nightsbridge hotel reservation software. Advantageous: Diploma in Hospitality Management.
