Location: Johannesburg
Salary: R30,000 – R40,000 CTC + Commission
Job Purpose:
A leading company in the materials handling industry is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to identify new business opportunities and grow market share within the forklift sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the forklift and materials handling industry.
- Conduct proactive prospecting and lead generation, including cold calling and networking.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Engage with prospective customers, presenting products and services effectively to create interest and close deals.
- Develop strong client relationships through excellent customer service and ongoing support.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company and expand business reach.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the forklift, materials handling, or industrial sector.
- Strong business development and cold calling experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
