This rare opportunity is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for luxury guest experiences, team development, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of lodge operations while ensuring personalised service, strong team leadership, and unforgettable guest journeys in a breathtaking island setting. ? Requirements: • Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Lodge Manager or General Manager within a luxury lodge or hotel environment • Previous experience managing a remote property highly advantageous • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field • Proven success in training, mentoring, and developing hospitality teams • Strong operational, financial, and people management skills • Exceptional guest relations and hosting abilities • Hands-on management style with excellent attention to detail • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospitality management systems • Fluent in English (Portuguese advantageous) • Experience within luxury hospitality environments essential ? Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodge across all departments • Deliver exceptional guest experiences through personalised service and attention to detail • Lead guest delight initiatives, special occasions, and repeat guest programmes • Coordinate Front of House, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Activities teams • Conduct daily quality inspections and maintain presentation standards throughout the property • Develop and implement training programmes for guest-facing teams • Mentor department heads and foster a culture of growth and service excellence • Manage budgets, expenditure, forecasting, and operational costs • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes • Support sustainability initiatives and community engagement programmes • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and local communities ?
