Field Guide | Luxury Game Lodge | Sabi Sands
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Field Guide for a luxury game lodge located in the prestigious Sabi Sands Game Reserve.
This opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic guide with a genuine passion for wildlife, conservation and delivering memorable safari experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting game drives, sharing their knowledge of the bush with guests and ensuring exceptional service standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences in a professional and personable manner
• Interpret wildlife behaviour, ecology and conservation topics for guests
• Ensure guest safety during all safari activities
• Assist with the maintenance and care of guiding equipment and vehicles
• Work closely with lodge management and other departments to ensure seamless guest service
• Uphold the lodge's operational and service standards
• Contribute to conservation and environmental awareness initiatives
Requirements
• FGASA Level 1 qualification essential
• FGASA Level 2 qualification advantageous, or currently working towards completion
• Valid guiding qualifications and relevant certifications
• Excellent wildlife knowledge and guiding skills
• Strong communication and guest interaction abilities
• Professional, positive and team-oriented attitude
• Passion for conservation and the safari industry
• Valid driver's licence and PDP preferred
