Kendrick Recruitment is seeking either an experienced Assistant Lodge Manager or a Lodge Management Couple for a luxury game lodge situated in the Welgevonden area.
This is an exceptional opportunity for hospitality professionals with a passion for luxury lodges, wildlife and guest service. The successful candidate or couple will play a key role in supporting lodge operations, guest experiences, staff management and property maintenance while ensuring the highest standards of hospitality are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain luxury service standards
• Support staff management, training and performance development
• Assist with lodge administration, stock control and financial procedures
• Oversee housekeeping and operational standards
• Support maintenance programmes and general property upkeep
• Manage guest relations and ensure personalised service delivery
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and conservation standards
• Assist with guiding activities where applicable
Preferred Requirements – Guide / Maintenance Focus
• Previous Big 5 guiding experience essential
• Strong maintenance and general property management experience
• Excellent guest interaction and hosting abilities
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Valid PDP and relevant guiding qualifications advantageous
Preferred Requirements – Hospitality Operations Focus
• Strong front-of-house and guest relations skills
• Experience in finance, administration and stock control
• Housekeeping management experience
• Chef qualification or kitchen management experience advantageous
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
