This exciting leadership opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional with extensive luxury safari lodge experience, exceptional operational expertise, and a passion for delivering world-class guest experiences. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the camp's operations while leading and developing a high-performing team in a remote wilderness environment. ? Requirements: • Minimum 5–7 years' experience as a General Manager within a luxury safari lodge or camp • Proven leadership experience managing multiple operational departments • Strong financial management, budgeting, and reporting skills • Exceptional guest relations and hosting abilities • Experience in staff training, mentoring, and performance management • Strong Food & Beverage and Rooms Division knowledge • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to thrive in a remote bush environment • Hospitality qualification advantageous ? Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the luxury safari camp • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and personalised hospitality • Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers and staff • Manage operational budgets, stock control, and financial performance • Ensure the highest standards across accommodation, food & beverage, housekeeping, and guest services • Maintain health, safety, and company compliance standards • Monitor guest satisfaction and implement continuous service improvements • Work closely with guiding and support teams to ensure seamless safari experiences • Build a positive, high-performance team culture • Prepare operational reports and support strategic business objectives ?
