ROLE PURPOSE (WHY THIS JOB EXISTS)
Create new pipeline and close new monthly recurring revenue through proactive outreach and networking. You are measured on MRR closed, not “effort”.

By Day 90:

1. You have a repeatable outbound rhythm (daily prospecting, weekly meetings, consistent follow-up)
   
2. You are closing deals monthly and building predictable pipeline
   
3. You have a pipeline that supports hitting R150k/quarter
   
4. Zoho CRM is accurate enough to forecast weekly without guessing
   

 TARGETS + SCOREBOARD (HORMOZI-STYLE)

 Annual / Quarterly target

• Annual: R600,000 new MRR
  
• Quarterly: R150,000 new MRR
  
• Monthly run-rate to hit target (simple guiding math): R50,000 new MRR/month
  

Weekly activity standards (minimums; adjust once you have real conversion data)

• Cold calls: 250–400/week
  
• Decision-maker conversations: 25–40/week
  
• Discovery meetings booked: 8–12/week
  
• Discovery meetings completed: 6–10/week
  
• Proposals sent: 3–6/week
  
• New MRR closed: target R12,500/week average (to reach R50k/month)
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Outbound prospecting (daily) 

• Cold calling to ICP lists daily (minimum set call blocks)
  
• LinkedIn outreach daily (connection + value message + meeting CTA)
  
• Email outreach daily (short, clear, curiosity-driven)
  

• Attend/participate in industry events and local business networks weekly
  
• Generate referral introductions from partners and clients
  
• Maintain a partner/referral list inside Zoho (tracked like pipeline)
  

 Discovery, qualification, and closing 

• Run structured discovery calls (pain, impact, urgency, decision process, budget reality)
  
• Qualify hard (no time-wasters)
  
• Present solutions clearly with next step and close plan
  
• Handle objections with clarity and proof (no discount begging)
  

• Log all calls, meetings, notes, and next actions same day
  
• Maintain pipeline stages accurately (forecasting depends on this)
  
• Weekly pipeline review with Sales BU Lead: deals, blockers, next steps
  

• Multi-touch follow-up cadence after every meeting/proposal
  
• Create urgency ethically (deadlines, limited capacity, implementation slots)
