Maintenance Technician – Meat-Processing Plant
Are you a qualified maintenance technician with mechanical and electrical experience? Do you enjoy troubleshooting, maintaining production machinery and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work at a modern meat-processing plant in the Netherlands.
About the position
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work with your technical colleagues to maintain, repair and improve production installations and utility systems.
You will work on machinery used for processing, cutting, transporting and packaging meat products. Your main responsibility is to ensure that the production equipment operates safely, reliably and efficiently.
Because you will work in a food-production environment, hygiene, safety and quality are very important.
What will you do?
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
Maintain conveyors, cutting equipment and packaging machines.
Carry out inspections and identify technical problems.
Support technical improvements and modifications.
Work according to food-safety, hygiene and technical safety standards.
What are we looking for?
A recognised mechanical, electrical or maintenance qualification.
Experience as a Millwright, Maintenance Technician, Electrician or Fitter.
Experience with production machinery in a food-processing or manufacturing environment.
Good fault-finding and maintenance skills.
Basic knowledge of PLCs or control systems is an advantage.
Good English communication skills.
Under the age of 28, Able to speak basic Afrikaans and had Afrikaans up until Matric.
Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands and work shifts when required.

A salary starting from €4,357 gross per month, depending on your experience and qualifications.
