We are looking for hands-on, site-experienced professionals with a proven track record in construction QA/QC. You will be responsible for day-to-day site surveillance, inspections, NCR management, and ensuring subcontractors adhere to quality standards.
We have seven specific positions available:
QA/QC Engineer (Electrical) – x3 – Large-scale mixed-use megadevelopment, Abu Dhabi
QA/QC Engineer (Civil) – x2 – Major civic/commercial development, Ras Al Khaimah
QA/QC Engineer (MEP) – x2 – Luxury residential development, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a construction environment.
Technical Expertise: Knowledge of QA/QC processes, inspection and testing procedures, and construction methodologies.
Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, positive attitude, passion and commitment to work.
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct day-to-day site surveillance – identify, record, and communicate deficiencies to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to ITPs, inspection schedules, and quality records.
Prepare detailed inspection schedules aligned with the project programme, tracking inspections activity by activity.
Coordinate Work Inspections with the execution team, consultants, and subcontractors – ensuring all required data and post-inspection notes are recorded.
Conduct Material Inspections using electronic workflows – verify compliance with specifications and ensure rejected materials are quarantined and removed from site.
Work with the execution team to implement corrective actions for NCRs and identified deficiencies.
Conduct internal inspections to verify the effectiveness of preventive actions.
Coordinate with the Firestop Engineer to ensure FLS activities meet specifications and authority requirements.
Review weekly/monthly deliverable status – including planned vs. actual approvals and resubmissions.
Lead snagging and de-snagging inspections with subcontractors and the ALEC execution team.
