Job Summary
Required for established hotel group head office, Lusaka Zambia Package: $ 8000.00 + Accommodation + Transport + Medical Cover · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline. · Demonstrated experience in management reporting, consolidation, cash flow planning, audit, tax, internal controls and finance process improvement. · Practical experience leading finance system implementation or major process transformation, preferably involving Sage 300 Accounting, inventory, procurement or payroll solutions. · Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong capability in financial modelling, data analysis and executive presentation. · Strong command of financial and management accounting, balance sheet governance, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. · Sound understanding of hospitality finance, the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry and hotel operating metrics. · Commercial judgement and the ability to connect operational activity to revenue, margin, cash flow, risk and return on investment. · Ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly to Board members, executives, managers and operational teams. · Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, negotiation, planning and project-management skills. · Ability to work across multiple entities and priorities, meet demanding deadlines and remain effective in a changing operating environment.
