Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience in power distribution, utility systems or mission-critical facilities? Would you like to contribute to reliable and sustainable electrical infrastructure in the Netherlands?
As an Electrical Engineer, you work on the design, development and coordination of electrical installations for industrial facilities, commercial buildings, data centres and infrastructure projects. Your projects may include medium- and low-voltage distribution, emergency power, UPS systems, renewable energy, battery storage and electrical building services.
You support projects from the first calculations and technical designs through to installation, testing and commissioning. You work closely with clients, contractors, utility companies and engineers from different technical disciplines.
What are you going to do?
Design MV and LV electrical distribution systems.
Prepare load calculations and energy estimates.
Develop switchgear, distribution boards and single-line diagrams.
Support UPS, emergency power and backup system designs.
Design electrical installations for buildings, data centres and critical environments.
Contribute to solar PV, battery storage and protection studies.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
Support site inspections, testing, commissioning and compliance checks.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical or Energy Engineering.
At least two years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
Experience with MV or LV electrical distribution systems.
Under the age of 28, Able to speak basic Afrikaans and had Afrikaans up until Matric.
Understanding of power distribution, backup power and electrical utilities.
Experience in data centres, building services, infrastructure or industrial projects.
Knowledge of load calculations, switchgear and single-line diagrams.
Experience with technical documentation and multidisciplinary project coordination.
Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP, DIgSILENT, Relux or MATLAB.
An analytical, organised and quality-conscious approach.
Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands.
