What You'll Do:
- Design, architect, and implement hardware and software control systems including PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI solutions
- Develop control system architectures, industrial network layouts, and electrical schematics
- Integrate sensors, actuators, drives, and safety instrumented systems
- Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications using IEC 61131-3 programming languages
- Work with platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, ABB, or Emerson
- Configure and optimise PID loops and process control algorithms
- Lead or support factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, loop checks, and commissioning activities
- Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support for complex automation and control faults
- Perform system backups, upgrades, cybersecurity patching, and hardware maintenance
- Maintain technical documentation for control systems and modifications
- Support risk assessments, safety lifecycle activities, and functional safety verification
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and machinery requirements
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including engineering, maintenance, operations, and IT
- Manage multiple projects and technical priorities in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
- Strong PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in PLC programming and system integration
- Knowledge of industrial networking and AutoCAD
- Proven troubleshooting capabilities
- Familiarity with System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Relevant technical education or equivalent experience
