Job Summary
PBT Group is seeking a strong Report Developer to join a high-performance delivery environment. This role requires a hands-on, technically solid professional who can quickly integrate into the team and contribute with minimal ramp-up time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining business intelligence reports and data solutions, with a strong focus on Power BI, SQL, and ETL processes.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a reporting / BI development role
- Proven Power BI report development experience
- Strong SQL skills (query writing, optimisation, data analysis)
- Strong ETL / data integration skills
- Experience working within Financial Services or Insurance environments
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
- Develop and optimise SQL queries for reporting and data analysis
- Build and maintain ETL processes supporting reporting requirements
- Work closely with business stakeholders and data teams
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reporting performance
- Support ongoing enhancements and reporting improvements
Important Work Arrangement Note
This is a 100% full-time onsite role based in Parktown, Johannesburg.
- This is not a hybrid or remote position
- Candidates must be comfortable working onsite daily
