We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer to join our team, providing expert operational support for our data tools and platforms that power geospatial analytics. You will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and user satisfaction, helping teams derive actionable insights from complex geospatial datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver advanced operational support for data platforms and analytics tools, ensuring high availability and performance.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across geospatial data systems.
· Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and analysts to identify and implement improvements in system stability and efficiency.
· Monitor platform performance, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement preventive measures.
· Develop and maintain documentation for support processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior support engineers and cross-functional teams.
· Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to minimize downtime and maintain service continuity.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Geospatial Science, or related field.
· Proven experience (5+ years) in supporting data platforms, preferably in geospatial or analytics environments.
· Strong knowledge of SQL, cloud-based data platforms, and analytics tools.
· Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management systems.
· Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
